Bruce Brosnan
Studio Manager/Head Administrator
Bruce joined MAC in September 2026 as Studio Manager/Conservation Coordinator. He holds a BFA from Maine College of Art and an MFA from Hunter College. Bruce brings more than 24 years of experience in gallery operations and registration, having spent two decades as Senior Registrar at Edward Tyler Nahem in New York, following several years as Registrar/Preparator at Anthony Grant, Inc. Over the course of his career he has directed domestic and international shipping and logistics for museum-quality secondary-market artworks, managed collections and inventory across multiple facilities, and coordinated provenance and exhibition history research supporting authentication and valuation. His work overseeing conservation projects across paintings, sculpture, mixed media, and outdoor works for major gallery collections has given him a close working familiarity with the conservation process from the registrar's side. Bruce brings deep logistical expertise, meticulous documentation practices, and strong relationships with collectors, artists, and museums to the position at MAC, where he coordinates conservation projects and artwork logistics, manages intake, release, and condition documentation, and oversees the daily operations of the studio.
