We are pleased to announce the relocation of the practice to the landmark Starrett Lehigh Building in Chelsea starting July 1, 2020.
Modern Art Conservation’s new 7000 square foot facility has been specifically designed for art conservation. It will include secure art storage for works in treatment, integrated and monitored climate control and humidification, central station security and surveillance systems, a large freight elevator and truck freight, high ceilings, abundant natural light, — and yes, great views! The new studio allows us to expand our capabilities and to continue to work collaboratively with specialists in paper, photo, objects, electronic media, and kinetic art addressing the conservation needs of modern and contemporary collections, galleries, museums, and auction houses. We will continue to provide the highest quality conservation in the timely and discreet manner to which our clients are accustomed.
